Making Horse Ads In Pennsylvania

By Kerri Stout

Pennsylvania is a state with many horses with the owners or farms selling them from time to time. All these sellers mean that you have to make your horse ads in Pennsylvania to stand out in order for your horses to find a buyer easily. Knowing how to make the best advert can give you a competitive edge over the other sellers. Continue reading for tips on making a great ad

Simplicity is the way to go when making an advert on the horse you are selling. This should be for both online selling or on a magazine or even daily print media on the advertisements segment. All essential information on the qualities of your horses should be included and not one be left out but all these should be done in few words if it is a paid ad per size of space your ad uses.

Let your advert be fully informative for higher chances of getting a buyer. A single line of advert on your horse will not do you any good because no buyer has the time to call you and enquire on all other details. If this means you buy more space on the media you are placing your ad then you should do it for the sake of a quick sale. Include all the qualities of your horses for the readers to see if they match those they are looking for.

Statistics of the horses should not be left out. The age and gender should be clearly stated and some additions such as mentioning a great sire whose genes run in your horses can increase the chances of selling or even have it sold the first day. You should also mention the specific breed your horse is for it to be identified easily by people looking to buy that kind of breed.

People will want to see your horses before buying it and since there are far away then a photo or a short clip of your horse in action will do the trick. The photo should be a recent one showing the horse at its best and clearly bringing out its qualities. An ad without a photo or with a photo downloaded from the internet of horses may not attract the eyes of many buyers because whatever they are offered is not displayed.

Including your offer price is important. Not everyone likes calling out to ask about the price of the horses being sold. Having a price there will save both you and the would-be buyer those calls only to find that the price you are offering they cannot afford. Buyers have their budget and having a price tells them if it's within their budgets or not. This also means that you should not quote a very high price even if you are open for negotiations.

Don't forget to include your contacts on the advert. After all who will buy from you if they don't know how to get in touch with you are where you are located. Including your county or town and a phone number is a must.

Put yourself in the shoes of the buyer when you are making these ads in Pennsylvania. Ask yourself if that ad would have convinced you to buy that horse. If the answer is yes then you can go on and post it.
