Women's Fat Loss

By Sammy Ason

For women, the idea of losing weight brings about all types of emotions. In comparison to male weight loss, the female version is much more difficult to achieve. While men and women are both human beings, their body composition is certainly different. The uniqueness of the DNA in both male and females can be blamed for the reason that they don't go about the process of fat loss, the same. DNA is the main culprit behind the way fat is carried on a female body and how it can be burned away.

The main factor influencing this is the complex hormonal changes that occur in a female's body, month to month. Due to menstruation, plenty of nutrients are discarded by the body each month. The body attempts to make up for this deficit by releasing all types of hormones. While men also have their own distinguishing hormones, the ones females have are very unstable. Their levels are always shifting and therefore, weight loss becomes impacted as a result. Men and women share one factor that impacts how they lose weight, stress.

Don't worry, there is hope! You don't have to quit now. For women, stubborn fat is a common problem. Even a woman who has lost a considerable amount of weight can still look "fat" in certain areas such as the buttocks, legs and arms. But this doesn't mean that it will be impossible to burn it off. This is where women and men differ in weight loss.

Men also share this type of problem. But they are more likely to burn it off because they lift weights to build muscle. Muscle, in turn will burn off more fat from the body. Women are less prone to this type of fitness method because of the fear of looking bulky or masculine. But quick workouts that include building muscle is something women should be more inclined to do, if they seek to lose the fat.

A weight loss plan for women most likely will include healthy eating as its cornerstone. For men, their plans will usually consist of eating properly and participating in a workout regimen. Since women are less likely than men to spend time in a gym, their level of weight loss may not be as much, compared to men's. But choosing to diet alone will not bring forth the maximum amount of fat loss. Exercise should be use by both male and female in order to achieve optimal results.
